Betty Bryant - Cam Failure #950

Date 9/7/08

camfailure # 950

1997 SHO Betty Bryant - Owner Front head, exhaust cam.

Tow in cam weld. She was well aware that something was very wrong with her "baby".

Upon opening the engine, found the cam sprocket was very loose, near spinning but saveable. Picture shows cam sprocket moved all the way up against the nut on the shaft, there should be a 1/16 - 1/8" gap between the two parts.
