- We Hear An Engine Lifter Noise Under The Hood
Before we get into the main description. I'd like to
make something very clear. This car, although it appears to
have been well kept by looking under the hood and driving
it, does have an issue with it. We
did note upon our test drive that once the engine gets hot
we hear what appears to be a pretty good lifter noise. We
go through far too many cars to be able to spend enough time
with this car to pinpoint the cause of the problem, so we
are really unsure what is causing it. From what we've heard
this appears to be a common issue for these cars, but we're
unsure how to go about fixing it. We're also unsure if its
a lifter causing the noise, but the best way to describe the
noise we're hearing is to characterize it as a lifter
noise. We also noted the check engine light was illuminated
and the car appears to lightly hiccup at at highway speeds
when its in overdrive meaning that it hesitates lightly when
you give it gas. The good news is that other
than that the car drives great, and we feel that the car is
more than nice enough for you to invest some time into
getting it fixed. Since this car
is 8 years old the supply of engine parts are a dime a dozen
so it shouldn't be a big issue to get this problem
addressed. Please be advised that I am not a
mechanic, and I can not say how long the engine will work
properly with this problem so if you would be making a long
trip back home in this car please keep that in mind but
other than the noise and the light hiccups at highway speeds
the engine does appear to be operating normally.

did note that the car's antenna appears to be missing which
may affect radio reception on weaker stations. The exterior
is also in beautiful condition. The paint still looks
beautiful and is very shiny. The factory premium sport SHO
alloy wheels are beautiful and are matched to a good set of
tires!
So how does it drive? You'll be very pleased by how well
the car drives! The suspension is tight, the car hugs the
turns and absorbs the bumps just as it did when it was new.
You won't believe how tight the car is! It handles the
speed well. This car will cruise at 80 miles per hour on
the freeway with no problem! The brakes stop the car evenly
and effectively. The engine is very powerful! This car
features the very powerful Ford SHO 3.4L DOHC V8 Engine.
The engine features a lot of technology to make sure you get
the most for your money. It'll give you all the power that
you need to do whatever you'd like to do in this car! You
will have no trouble passing slower traffic in this car.

The point of sale of this vehicle is San Antonio, Bexar
County, Texas. The substantive law of the State of Texas
without regard to conflicts of law, shall govern the
purchase of this vehicle. If the winning bidder plans to
register the vehicle in the state of Texas, you must pay
sales tax in the amount of 6.25% of the sales price, a
.20903% Dealer Inventory Tax (Example of dealer inventory
tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory tax.), $50
Documentary Fee, $33.00 Title Fee, and a $62.00 registration
fee (registration fee is only charged if new registration is
required). Out of state winners will only have to pay a $50
document fee and a .20903% dealer inventory tax (Example of
dealer inventory tax: $10,000 sales price = $20.90 inventory
tax.) of the auction sales price. You will be responsible
for registering the car in your home state.
The winning bidder must contact us either by email (drivenluxury@juno.com)
or by telephone (210-843-4701) within 24 hours of the
auction close. We require a $1000 deposit from the high
bidder either by wire transfer, cashier's check or money
order via overnight mail or similar overnight service within
48 hours of the auction close. We can also accept wire
transfer for deposit/final balance. Personal checks/credit
card checks/money market account checks or other forms of
uncertified payment are NOT accepted for deposit. They can
be accepted for final balance, but you must allow up to two
weeks for check to clear before buyer can take final
possession of vehicle. Unless prior arrangements are made,
transaction must be completed within 14 days of auction
end. If the buyer does not come through with the sale we
reserve the right to keep the deposit and offer the car to
another buyer. We are able to ship the car anywhere in the
USA or pick you up at the airport for you to pick the
vehicle up personally. Both arrangements (either car
shipping, or flying in are at the buyers expense). Clean
title is guaranteed! We do not sell cars with
reconditioned, reassigned VIN numbers or salvage titles.
Seller reserves the right to end the auction for any
reason. Feel free to contact us to arrange a Buy it Now on
