I called John, VIN=1fafp54n9xa261551, Car had 200k+, John will check for "slipped cam" for us, nice guy. Motor is all dissembled. ATX is sold.

EBay - Suspected Cam Failure #775

is confirmed, called the current owner, a junk yard & used car lot and he went out and inspect the cams.

SOB, some of the cams were welded, but not the one that failed, that is how the car made 200k+

I'm getting photos sent to me.

Ain't suspected no more.

This is a double cam failure, one cam was welded before it failed and I guess the other cam slipped either with out warning or on a sequent owner.
