Black 1997 Ford Taurus SHO up for auction. My son acquired this
car in October of 2004. He took it in for a repair, and when he
got it back the engine was smoking. He took it back to the
mechanic again, and now the engine doesn't run. One person we had
look at is says the engine is fixable, however they don't know how
to do it. Another says it is not fixable. In other words, I don't
know if it needs a new motor but I want to sell it.
I am told it had a
cylinder head redone and the valves redone. I am told it needs the
timing set.
Besides the obvious
engine problem, it has a few minor bumps. There is a hole by the
back license plate. There are some scratches and a tear on the
front bumper. The interior is in good condition, other than it's
not especially clean.
There is a six CD changer
in the trunk with CDs in it (bonus!), since we can't get the car
started to get them out.
My son only got to drive
it about 19,000 miles before it quit.
