1996 Taurus SHO with the 3.4 V8 that has
92000 miles. This is a beautiful car inside and out with leather,
sunroof etc.
it does run
but, it is misfiring on the back four cylinders and the oil light
is on. I am going to say that it either needs the motor rebuilt or
it needs to be replaced. Now ...so there's no surprizes, if
you are thinking about buying a new motor from Ford you better
plan on taking out a second mortgage on your home because Ford
wants ...$17,000.00 for a new motor! personally, i'd repair this
one because it's still good (it would run great if it was'nt
