Front Strut Removal

new 7/09/04

After much frustration I have found this way.......

Keep the strut attached at the top. Do one side at a time.

Jack stands under the front of the floor rails and a jack under the subframe, take out subframe bushing bolts on only one side at a time.

Remove brake caliper, rotor and FSB endlink.

Take pinch bolt out.

Let subframe down slowly with jack all the way. Give knuckle a kick down and back. Out she comes.

Getting the spring on and off I leave to the professionals.
