New Owner

12/24/2003

Larry,

I'm not sure if you're the correct person to notify to or not, but I recently (in the past 2 months) purchased the 99 SHO Jeremy & Connie Miles had through a used car dealer. I would like to be added to any e-mail notifications y'all have and to the list of current owners. My name is Shane Boshart, and my e-mail is tree_hugging_hippy@hotmail.com . The rest of this e-mail is a small part of my story with the dealer if you feel like reading it.
It was random that Jeremy and I ran into each other. He was just driving past my house and saw me. I had asked the dealer to contact the previous owner (knowing that there was no way he could give me the contact info.) just so I could ask him/her some questions. The dealer said, "Oh sure". After meeting Jeremy, He told me they had never even tried to contact him. The used car dealer was a "frigging" joke! He tried his best to get one over on me, but thank God a friend from work which had originally tried to talk me into buying an SHO had told me about this website and the potential problems with the cars. The dealer wouldn't put new brakes on the car, but agreed (signed paper) to "fix" the engine light. That wound up costing the dealer over $1500.00 ;-}. The ECM, torque converter and solenoid for the torque converter needed to be replaced. I just felt like sharing this, because It's the only time I know of that a buyer has gotten one over on a (crooked) dealer. He thought he was making out great, and I knew what was going on the whole time. His boss' boss is the one who made things right. Water flows down stream a lot easier than it goes up it. That's just a polite way of putting it.
This web-site and friends is what helped me know what to look out for. With that combined knowledge and personal experiences I was able to catch them in their own game. THANK Y'ALL VERY MUCH!!!!!

It nice to see them stay in the family. Take good care of her.
