Subject: My cam
Iíve been reading the cam stories in the forum and it appears Iím a victim as of a week ago. One of the postings appeared to have Ericís email addy in it so I dropped him a line a few hours ago, but Iím not sure it was the correct addy. Iíd like to contact him about doing work on my í98 or pointing me to someone in my area (Detroit). However, if I have to tow it to Chicago, I guess thatís what Iíll do. Can you get me pointed in Ericís direction so that I can contact him about doing the work. Iíd say itís a cam issue. Itíll run, but just barely, with lots of top-end noise. About 120K on the odo. Also, I just changed the oil the week before and when engine decided on a ďtime out , it was down three quarts.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
