I bought this car 3 years ago from a local dealer. It had around 75,000 miles.
I drove it for two weeks until the motor blew up. If you are looking at this
you probably know about the infamous cam gear problems on these cars. It
happened to me. So it sat while I saved up the $4000 to get it rebuilt. I had
it rebuilt by Kirk Doucette of NESHO near Boston, MA. I towed it all the way
out there and dropped it off for a week-then flew out to pick it up. The cam
gears have been welded so they won't come off again. 6 months ago I put new
tires on it. Brand new brake pads and rotors on the front. New Battery
(installed yesterday with a 2 year warranty)!!! Only 93,000 miles on the car,
typical dings and scratches for a 12 year old car. VERY FAST!!! 25 mpg on the
highway. Does need exhaust work. Car is green with tan leather interior.
I am interested in a trade for a 4x4 of equal value. Brand is not an
issue-just a decent reliable 4x4 (I need it for my new house-the driveway
keeps washing out).
