EBay Cam Failure #1114 - Atlanta GA - '96

Up for sale is this 96 Ford Taurus SHO. This was the first year for a V-8 engine. It's a 3.4L V-8 built by Yamaha of Japan. The majority of the engine components were built here in the Windsor Foundry, then shipped to Yamaha for the small parts and final assembly. The completed engine assemblies were then shipped back here to Atlanta to the Hapeville Assembly Plant and installed into teh production cars. this engine made 235hp @ 5200rpm.

The history on this particular car is, back in 2005, I bought this car from the original owner in Texas. It had a cam fail and the engine was damaged. We fixed the engine and did all the maintenance that was needed. We then sold it to it's current owner who has owned it ever since. It has never been up north or exposed to salt or snow. The under side is just a sclean as the top side. We recently repaired the front end and steering system and replaced the swaybar end links, inner tie rod ends and ball joints. We also put on new brakes, front and rear. The car has been properly aligned and has a brand new set of Toyo Proxis 4 tires (less than 2000 miles). The air is nice and cold and everything works. The leather is clean and free of tears or damage. The outside bolster of the drivers' seat shows a slight amount of wear, but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything else works like a charm; CD player, moon roof, lights, radio (Mach Audio), it all works well. The interior is very clean and is great condition. The dash over the instrument cluster has pulled up, but they all did that. Again, nothing out of the ordinary.
