Part Brand: -- Placement on Vehicle: --       Manufacturer Part Number: -- Surface Finish: --       AAIA Part Number: -- Warranty: --       Other Part Number: -- Condition: New           Description   up for auction is my 97 taurus sho. this  car is in perfect condition,car has new brakes,newer tires and new struts. interior is gray leather,and in perfect condition! car has 90,000 miles. now the only problems with this car is the engine. the engine has had a cam gear failure that is common to this model.the exhaust cam on the rear head is bad. i went ahead and bought the exhaust cam from ford. before i had a chance to install cam the upper intake and all 8 coil packs were stollen from my garage. so the car would need a upper intake ,8 coil packs and the cam installed. i was going to do the work my self but dont have the time and cant aford to put the extra money into car.this is a great deal for someone with and higher milage engine,or someone able to get the parts cheep! im setting the reserve at  500.00. car is worth so much more. realy good shape for a 97.everything else works on car,and is very clean!! please ask any questions at wildlx351@yahoo.com car will have to be towed.   Select a picture   00077

Larry,

I purchased cam failure # 954 from Ebay. It had eight bent rear exhaust valves, one striped rear intake cam gear. one striped rear exhaust cam gear, and one very loose ready to fail front exhaust cam gear. This was a confirmed triple failure. I have included picture to support my findings.

I also have another ebay car reported as a cam failure. As soon as I can determine the extent of the failure I will notify you.
