New 6/25/02
I bought a 96 SHO before I did any looking in about any problems I owned a 95 5 speed no problems there so I got the 96 it had 109,000 miles head a lite tap dealer said it was the serpentine belt so I was like no problem had it replaced for $117 dollars the guy said it was not it I had major internal problems had the car 4 days got worse day by day the dealer said he would fix it until he found out each cam was 1,200 a piece and a lot of labor he now had my car for 64 days finally said he was going to put a rebuilt engine in it did the fix the cam problem or am I going to have the same problem down the road?
