History: Bought car used in 2001. Car was in excellent condition. We have put very few miles on the car since purchasing. Starting making a loud knocking noise around 51,000 miles. Took the car to several mechanics, and no one at first could figure out what was wrong, finally the last one told us it was the camshaft and that after removing the engine to repair with parts and labor would cost $12,000. The mechanic then gave us the information for this web site and the class action lawsuit information.
