Chop Shop - Cam Failures #626, #638 - #647

One recent cam failure we listed (638) was from the 3 camshafts for sale on ebay, from midnightautoparts. I emailed Ray out of curiosity, as he's always got stuff for sale, to see how many failures he's picked apart. From the list below, I can't match any VINs with what's on the site.

Now, by my count (on the spreadsheet that I'm not keeping :)), there are about 550 unique reports, including about 300 with reported VINs. Makes sense that some of Ray's cars would correspond, but I'm betting not all would.

We "owe" a cam failure, #626 was double counted. One of Chops Shop's cam failures is #638. Chop Shop has parted out a total of 11 cars with cam failures, so the body count is incremented by 10 more including #638 from #638 to #647. I also searched V8SHO using Google and none of the VIN's repeated. - Buford
