I think we saw a similar listing a while back. I remember b/c the listing said "right hand drive" and we all speculated about what the differences would be.

Of course, as much as we all love our cars, I don't see too many people willing to spend $7K on that thing. "Ya, I'm asking $10,000 for my 10-year-old Taurus b/c it has a new motor!"

...and you'll still need to get 'em welded. :-(

Actually, after exchanging many e-mails with one of the owners of three of these RHD motors, it seems that they are identical to the standard motor in format and design,

Hmmm... yeah, maybe.

But it only takes one fanatical owner with deep pockets (and $7K is not even that deep if you're a serious V8SHO fanatic) to give this engine a home.

Think about it this way: Carter just paid $4K for a short block. $7K sounds like a pretty decent price for a complete engine, especially to a packrat with $7K burning a hole in his pocket.

			3.4 LITER TAURUS SHO COMPLETE ENGINE BLOCK ASSEMBLY

							Looking to replace your motor? Here is a Brand New Right Hand Drive 3.4 Liter Taurus SHO Engine Assembly. Part number: F6DZ-6007-BA. I just opened the crate up for the first time and shot the photos that you see. I currently have new short blocks for sale on another auction, and I see no difference on the lower end on this unit. I have spoken with a couple of people about this motor, and have been told that the only difference discovered is the engine wiring harnesses. I make no assurances of that being the only difference. I do know however, that this is the only known NEW complete assembly up for sale. This motor has only been unwrapped for this round of photos, it will be wrapped up and crated for the end of this auction. We sold a couple of these a few years ago and have never seen another listed again. List price on the 3.4 liter short block alone is over $17,000 and if you take into account all of the new items on this motor, you will see that even the buy-it-now price is a deal. I will ship this motor anywhere in the world that accepts wood in their ports, as this motor is crated in wood. If you want a quote for freight send me your information, including unloading conditions, business? residence? dock? forklift?.
