1997 Taurus SHO - $1000

1997 Taurus SHO. 174,xxx miles. Bad camshaft led to valve damage in one head. Common problem for this poor cam design. Car will start and idle but is not driveable. Has 24,000 mile guarantee transmission from Certified Transmission (about 18,000 left on guarantee). Body and interior are in good condition, no rust, cracks or leather tears. Has new AC compressor, newer brakes. I was very happy with the car and took good care of it until the cam problem. (I guess I should have welded them as a friend had told me.)
