The pictures of this car were
taken after driving home in snow, and you see salt all over
the car. The car has been washed and is no longer covered
with salt. Now it is a good looking, Toronado Red car.
Unfortunately these are the only recent pictures I have of
this car, and it's 100 miles away right now at a shop.
You are looking at a 96 Taurus SHO
which recently blew an intake cam and isn't worth fixing.
The car has 148k miles, and was my primary vehicle until
last month. The interior is very nice, and the exterior has
some scratches and dings, but is also nice. The engine is
basically shot, and some of it is in pieces in the trunk.
Nothing was wrong with the engine before it blew a cam, but
I do not vouch for anything about the engine.
Everything else works fine; AC/Heat, windshield wipers,
transmission, sunroof, power locks/windows, power seat,
lights, good tires, valid NC inspection, etc. You could put
a new engine in this car and drive it around tomorrow or
sell it at a great profit. Kellybluebook.com puts this
car's resale value at $3735!
It is in Wytheville, VA and you will have to pick it up
locally. This car is being sold as is; there will be no
refunds except as follows-I don't have any pictures of the
interior. I warrant that the interior is in good condition,
meaning the seats are not ripped, the dashboard and console
are intact, radio works, etc. If you find anything major
wrong with the interior I will refund your money. Anything
minor wrong with the interior is your problem. Feel free to
email me with any questions; I will answer them as best I
can.
