INTEND TO BUY: ITEM: 1997 Ford Taurus SHO-8 cyl
engine, auto trans, 135,709 miles, black with tan
leather interior, VIN # 1FALP54N1VA271863. OPTIONS:
This car is loaded with options including power
windows-locks-seat-mirrors, sunroof, trunk mounted cd
player, heated mirrors, etc. CONDITION: The exterior
is in good shape except the drivers side mirror is
sitting in the back seat and there is a scrape on the
rear door. The interior is also in good shape with a
couple of marks on the passenger seat and rear seat.
The car shifts out fine and runs good when you give it
gas but it will idle rough at low speed ( runs at
about 500 rpm ). The exhaust is disconnected in front
of the catalytic converter and there is a couple of
hoses that aren't connected. That may be the reason
for the low idle (computer is reading too much
oxygen). The car backfires when cold but seems to stop
once it is warm. REMARKS: I bought this from a dealer
friend of mine. He didn't want to mess with it and I
have had pretty good luck selling cars like this on
ebay to people who want to work on them. The car is
sold "as is". The car has a clear MO title.
