You are bidding on a 1997 Taurus V8 SHO no reserve with 105K miles. I am the third owner of this vehicle (since about 65K miles). Regular scheduled maintenance performed, car stopped running a little over a year ago. Would make a great candidate for an enthusiast who's interested in troubleshooting and/or repairing engine problem.
The car is fully loaded with leather, electronic climate control, premium sound (6 disc changer in trunk), power moonroof, alloy 5 spoke wheels. It is Toreador red with gray leather interior.
Cosmetically, the car is good. There are some minor door dings from parking lots, some light scratches on the roof and left rear quarter panel, and minor surface corosion on the bottom of the trunk lid. The carpeting is in need of a thorough cleaning, and the steering wheel finish has started to wear. Overall this car shines up very nicely.
Mechanically at the time the car quit running everything was in working order with the exception of: the power antenna (deploys about 1/2 way); the hood latch cable needs adjustment. The two rear tires are new, and the front need to be replaced.
Buyer must pick up vehicle (located 20 miles Northeast of Detroit, MI), or arrange for tow and ship themselves (I can be present to hand over keys, title). Payment is expected in full within 7 days of auction end.
