Northtown Ford, Decatur IL - Overall Rating 2
Dealership is reputed to have a good mechanic for auto transmission &
brakes. Once they saw my rims & K&N intake they refused to work on my
car. That was their excuse anyway. I think it may be because when I asked for
the zone rep they refused to contact him. Once I went to owner of the dealership
to get in contact with the zone rep that caused them to lose interest in ever
working on my car again. - Timothy Wright

These guys took a month to fix my transmission and still got it all wrong.
They put
the sub-frame back in crooked and tore a CV joint boot on the same job. If your
experience is like mine They not only can't fix your car they may very well damage
it while working on it. To ice the cake after they kept my car for a month they returned it dirty. The service
writer is a special work of art, ethically challenged, he not only refused to
work on my car but refused to give me note saying they refused to work on my
car. Told me to take my SHO back to WV to get it worked on. They are a SVT
dealer and they do have a dynojet and a promote themselves a lot with the mustang group. -

These guys charged me almost $80 to tell me my bad struts were good. I would
be careful with their service department. - Timothy Wright
Uftring Ford, Peoria - Overall Rating 9
These guys fixed Don Mallinsons front suspension squeak and did my struts.
To be honest they lost my reservation but fitted me in anyway on a busy Monday.
They are a STV and Jag dealership and seem to have all very capable people. I
trust these guys with my car. - Timothy Wright
