Larry, the 97 I just bought was almost a cam failure was torn apart the night
before it would have failed, the sprocket was loose. Here's the story, bought
the car from a forum member (who's also a master mechanic.) He tore it apart to
check on the cams and found one had slipped, put it back in place and welded
them all down. Said it would have failed that night if he hadn't welded it.
Vin # is 1FALP54N7VA137066
Mileage was around 140-150k
Need anymore info, let me know.
Jason
