Add me to the list. Wow, absolutely mind blowing. Reading everyone's
messages, it's my experience exactly!
On 10/26/01, with 66,000 miles the Cam Shaft on my SHO locked up, it had just
started ticking a few days earlier. The whole thing just died. 4 of the 8
cylinders are not firing (actually free spinning). The back pressure caused the
housing of the air filter to crack. Major damage to the engine.
Prior to this, it had run like a dream. There are no excuses for a high
performance vehicle to seize up at such low mileage! It's a factory defect.
The posts here will hopefully go a long way to helping me with Ford. THANKS!
