> Ok, I read the letter, but other than notifying me that I am not included, there was no instruction on what action I and others should take at this time. What should everyone do?
Don Mallinson
We filed our answer to Ford's most recent motion to dismiss this past Monday,
there is not much individuals can do until some things get clarified by the
court. As always I am cautiously optimistic.
Footnotes to our motion were 560 pages.
Our intent has never changed, class action status benefiting all V8SHO owners,
we are diligently working toward that goal.
For now, depending upon religious preferences, pious prayers, spells, stick
pins, or incantations for our cause are all welcome.
Keep your fingers crossed, oil changed, shinny side up, between the green, avoid
hail and cams welded, any further updates will be posted here.

> Did you guys read the whole letter?
>
> Here's a summary of how I understood it:
>
> 1. Ford has moved to dismiss the plaintiffs' claim.
>
> 2. The plaintiffs have filed a response opposing the dismissal motion.
>
> 3. If the plaintiffs are successful in opposing the dismissal motion,
> then the court will decide who the "class" is (as in "class-action")
>
> 4. If the "class" defined by the court includes you, you may be
> included as a plaintiff (sort of).
>
> 5. If the court denies the motion for class certification, then
> everyone who's not specifically named is not included.
>
> Sounds to me like this update is just for the purposes of clearing the
> air about who exactly is included at this point. As far as I can
> tell, it's not saying "you're screwed" to anyone. In addition, it
> doesn't look like it's saying anyone should do anything. Just sit
> tight and await another update.
