New 5/7/06
Well at 75k miles my ford died, Cam failure, go figure, started with rough idle, then started to die when starting then not starting at all. I got my car used, purchased extended warranty, it ran out before the car died. I took it to ford and 5700.00 and some change later they had to ship my cams off to be welded. Now the car is acting up again not wanting to start. I have sent ford several emails and called I never get any replies. I will never own another ford again, I got the car when it had 56k on it, it now has 120k. The car is in great shape body wise just is a piece of junk when it comes to the engine. Any other updates on the class action lawsuit? I wish I could have added my situation to the cause. I think ford needs to step up and take responsibility for this mess that they unleashed onto the public. Thanks for hearing me grip about my nightmare
Huh - is that right? "I took it to ford and 5700.00 and some change later they had to ship my cams off to be welded."
Why would Ford knowingly do something they had deemed "Inappropriate and Unnecessary"?
BTW, Tim - Unless you got a new crystal ball, I think the date is 5/7/06
