Hello from Indiana home of another cam failure. My name is LOYD SMITH and I have a 1997 white/tan SHO vin# 1FALP54N3VA179802 with 58,752 on it. Purchased used and
I am the second owner. I took my vin# to the local FORD dealer and after they ran the # and said there was NO info reported back by there "system". But that for about 1,000.00 I could order a new cam. So the three remaining cams will be welded and a replacement will be put in where the bad one spun its cam sprocket gear.
