I can say this: Those we know and love (and love us) at Ford have acquired
cams for physical testing. I worry because 4 cams each of "natural"
"welded" and "pinned" is a very small sample size. No one is
thinking of testing (destroying) 30 cams of each which would be a good sample
size and actually tell you something meaningful.
Folks, good folks are working behind the scenes doing the welding, machine work
testing - even providing cams at great discounts to help this project and doing
all this for nothing. The process will take a little while. Those people who are
doing much also want to keep a low profile, (members of the vast right wing cam-spiracy).
Some day I hope to be able to express our gratitude and give them proper
recognition, But we can't do that just now.
It is like having a corked up AWA, pray all goes well and works out just fine.
Like having a corked up AWA we did our small part early on and all we can do now
is pray, hope and wait. If this goes somewhere by September it will be like
getting an overnight Annulment from the Catholic Church - record service.
For those who can not "Just wait" and must do something I want to be
the first to post an official prayer for our cams to the list:

I expect a lot of miserable cripples at FOMOCO in short order;
I come from a long line of honorable terrorists and anarchists. Bold Fenian men
on my Mothers side and Solidarity on my Fathers side. It not in my genes to hang
tight and sit back, but that is what we have to do for now.
