Misc Cam Failure #433

I just spoke to the manger of the grocery store that we use and asked him about the SHO that was usually in the parking lot. I told him, I had not seen it in a while and asked who it belonged to. Well it turned out to be his. It is a 97 TR. He told me about 2 months ago, he heard a ticking and a week later, it died on him.

We had a good discussion about the car and he said he called Ford about another engine. They quoted him $ 13,000 but said they did not have an engine for him. He said he really liked the car and wanted to keep it. Anyone with an engine for sale?

Now for the sad part, I left a paper on the windshield about 4-5 months ago about the v8sho website. I told him that I wanted to tell him about the cam problems. He said he lost the paper. Oh well. Anyway his is interested in subscribing to the email side of the website and was going to check out the website. He is going to get me the vin number so we can put it on the website. If anyone has an extra engine for sale or know of one, let me know and I will pass it on to him.
