Pennsylvania Ford Dealerships

Sturman & Larken Ford, Pittsburgh - Overall Rating   0
Out by Century III Mall I had these guys do a 30K service and attempt a brake job. They charged me for a ATX fluid and filter change that they never did which may have resulted in my $3,000 ATX failure. They promised to at least refund the cost of the service, that was 3 years ago so I can honestly call the service manager a petty thief.

They also don't know how to a proper brake job. When I told them They needed to do it according to Ford Policy if they are going to charge me Ford rates they threw me out. They told me don't even have the tools to cut a rotor on the car. Hubs need to to cleaned and rotors cut on the car. In my experience they are neither competent or honest. - Timothy Wright

If I may be so bold as to communicate for the greater good, I think I got excellent service out of McCandless Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Mercer, PA without getting ripped off and they are not that far from Pbgh, off I-79 & 80. Alternator destroyed, wheel bearings ruined & full of silt, fuel filter split, rear swaybar endlinks gone. CV joints, ATX, engine all holding up fine so far. So much for transition from urban to rural life. I'm stingy with compliments, but I think they did a commendable job and didn't fix anything that wasn't broken. Try to book when they don't have every local and state police cruiser in there.
