New: SHO Stopper Jr.
Application: All '96 Brake Upgrade' cars as well at 3G SHOs!

TCE Introduces a twist on an old theme. While many SHO owners have upgraded their brake systems to the "96 Brake Upgrade" there has been little opportunity to enhance it further. Until now.
SHO Stopper Jr. is a multi level enhancement to this system. Utilizing a choice of two different caliper options to meet budget levels, TCE can now offer you fixed, four piston stopping power. AND for those who have avoided the four piston kits for lack of 'dust boots' or 'sealed calipers' we have you covered.
Each kit includes new Radial Mount Calipers, mounting brackets, SS braided hoses, pads, fittings and all necessary hardware.
Why upgrade? Four piston calipers offer improved clamp loading by utilizing a more efficient design. Rather than one slider caliper pulling the outer pad into contact with the rotor, a four piston design provides true hydraulic clamping. Pad deflection is also reduced due to the better distribution of clamp loads. Heat saturation is reduced by the thermal properties of aluminum over iron. Pad selection for four piston calipers exceeds those available for any traditional 'floater' caliper. Radial mounts offer easy fit, adjustable mounting and bolt onto
NON MODIFIED knuckles. Substantial weight reduction combined with fantastic looks make this a sure bet.
SHO Stopper Jr. is available in two flavors; the lesser priced RNDL caliper and the new sealed DP caliper. See the CALIPER PAGE for more info on each of these. Brackets for these calipers are common thus offering the buyer an opportunity to swap parts in the future. Both brackets and calipers have proven to fit the 94-95 iron knuckle as well as the 96+ aluminum part. This marks the first time we've moved into the 3G market and look forward to filling a void here.

Optional pad choices for both are available from the PAD PAGE at an additional cost, but not as substitutions.
Future options for Jr. include the possibility of two piece hats and rotors as well as larger rotor kits. These changes are not expected to require new brackets.
**Notes:
These kits fit most 16" and larger wheels but DO NOT fit the stock slicer without the use of spacers. The 3G SHO wheel has not yet been checked for clearance. There is NO core charge on any of these kits. Minor cutting/grinding of the knuckle is required to fit the bracket. Pad selection for the DP caliper is limited for now as they are new. The DP caliper piston area is slightly smaller and will result in a shorter pedal stroke than the RNDL. The DP can be had with 1.75 pistons if special ordered. Brake hoses must be changed to accommodate the calipers.
