Gentlemen;
I purchased a used 99 SHO in Dec. of 2002. after going through the records that came with the car I found out that the motor had been replaced in mar. of 2000. the car had 14k on it. After reading the shop bill from the ford dealer the description of the reason for the engine to fail was a cam problem. My question to you, the new motor in my car was replaced by ford in 2000 could it still possibly have the same cam problem or did ford change any thing on their replacement engines. The car has 86k on it now and so far I have had good luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
