I have a 1997 Ford Taurus SHO. The engine will run but I have to keep my foot on the gas. The top cam chain doesn't move. It is locked. Ford told me it will take $25,000.00 to repair. I looked at your website and I think they are wrong. Can the cam be repaired. This happened in August of 2003. The car has 80K on it and I would like to keep it. I owe $8,000.00 on it and would like to keep it. Ford told me this is not a big problem. I see it differently.
